Sustainablilty Index Movement Growing

Several months ago I posted a blog entry about a move by the retail giant Walmart to make their business more sustainable.  They plan to do this by using an index that manufactures must fill out to determine just how sustainable their product is before Walmart will put it on the shelves.

It looks as though the concept is moving forward quite nicely, and other manufacturers are taking notice.  The nice thing about this index is that it is open source, so no one has an agenda for its development.
